We hired Meghan as our day of coordinator and it was hands down the best decision we made the entire process.  Leading up to the wedding Meghan was so lovely and helpful with all questions I had, offering rentals from her inventory and advice along the way. The week before the wedding I walked her through the entire wedding day schedule (I am very type A and thorough and she was SO supportive and understood everything) and I felt so secure knowing she was going to have it all under control.

On the day of the wedding Meghan not only handled everything I asked her to (as far as keeping things on schedule, handing out final payments to vendors, being the point person for all ceremony and reception things, making sure everything looked beautiful for the reception, etc.) she also went above any beyond handling things we couldn’t have expected and kept us so calm (like helping us figure out a bar snafu, and keeping us calm when our caterer didn’t bring any food for cocktail hour, and running down to the bridal suite to get me a hair brush and perfume at the end of the night.) She made sure my husband and I ate and had a drink in our hands at all times- Not to mention she was the absolute kindest most calming energy and so personable with everyone she came in contact with all day.

If you are a “type A bride” like me with a clear vision and schedule for your day you NEED to hire Meghan. And if you’re more laxed but just need someone to keep things running so you don’t have to on your day- you ALSO need to hire her.

I also must give a shout-out to her assistant she was training whom she brought that day to help- her name is escaping me but she was just as lovely and helpful all day/ night!

I thought I could help my daughter plan her wedding, but suddenly I realized we were going to need help during the rehearsal and wedding in order to be able to enjoy the festivities to the fullest. I didn't know "day of coordinator" was a thing until I saw a Facebook post and recognized Meghan Goforth's name as a trusted wedding planner by my daughter's wedding venue.

We met with Meghan a couple times before the big day and I was able to breathe a huge sigh of relief when it became apparent that she was experienced, organized, and highly motivated. She answered inquiries promptly, even while she was on vacation.

She really knows how to make everything come together flawlessly. Meghan also has a large inventory of tasteful wedding décor for rent which came in handy when we reached the point of wedding purchase saturation but still needed some things to round out the look.

Meghan was always available on site as she directed the rehearsal, contacted and coordinated with all the vendors, distributed the tips, picked up the cake, decorated the ceremony and reception sites, and also gathered and organized all the décor at the end of the night for packing up. I highly recommend Goforth Event Planning for a stress-free event!"

Meghan was absolutely amazing! I came to her with zero prep work or planning done less than four months before the date we had chosen for our wedding. She was extremely knowledgeable, organized, flexible and kind.
In less than four months Meghan helped us organize every detail of our wedding with very little stress. She was there every step of the way with a solution to any problem that came up and ideas to help tie together my very broad vision of what our day would be.
